Tooth Decay

Let’s now see what happens if we don’t use the right toothpastes on our tooth or if we don’t take proper care of our tooth. What occurs is tooth decay.

Tooth decay is the process that results in a cavity. It occurs when bacteria in the mouth make acids that eat away at the tooth. Tooth decay is caused by a combination of bacteria and food causes. As the bacteria feed on the sugars in the food we eat, then make acids.
The acids attack the teeth twenty minutes after eating. Over a period of time, these acids destroy the tooth enamel which results in tooth decay. Tooth decay usually doesn’t cause symptoms until the patient has a cavity or an infected tooth.whe this occurs, a tooth ache is the next common symptom.

Treatment depends on how bad it is. In extreme cases, the dentist may have to remove the tooth. Tooth decay is much easier to treat successfully at its early stages. There are some changes we can make to our diet to minimize the risk of tooth decay. For example, cutting down on sugary foods and drinks, particularly, between meals or within one hour of going to bed.
Lets take all of this into consideration and prevent tooth decay which s very painful and unpleasant. lets care for out tooth in the right way.
