It is only fair that we talk about the different kinds of
toothpaste since we have come to know how toothpaste evolved.

In Ghana, there are
various types of toothpaste. Depending on our individual preferences, we choose
what best suits our needs. Even though toothpaste is widely used across the
country, some people still prefer the traditional ways like using the grinded
charcoal ……………and the likes.
In Ghana, there are toothpastes like pepsodent, colgate,
aquafresh, close-up, oral B, sensodyne, yazz, amongst others. All of these are
used in various homes depending on the choice of these families and households
that use them.
Almost the same ingredients are used for these toothpastes.
Pepsodent has ingredients like; water, calcium carbonate, sorbitol, hydrated
silica, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium
monofluorophosphate, aroma, cellulose gum, potassium citrate, sodium silicate,
sodium saccharin, calcium glycerophosphate, phenylcarbinol.
Almost all other toothpaste have same ingredients. But of course, there will
be one or two different ingredients .Pepsodent is said to have a breakthrough
formula with active micro-calcium and scientifically proven to deliver 50% more
calcium in the mouth and it helps to
repair signs of early tooth decay. It is also said to provide best cavity
protection.
It is always good to brush day and night to prevent tooth
decay and other tooth-related issues.
